The company is focusing on what is believed to be the most important and richestshipwreck in Europe. The "Blessing of Burntisland" which sank with King Charles the Firsts 260 piece Royal dinnerware set consisting of some of the worlds most decorative and beautiful art objects. The British government has given written consent to begin the expedition. Other countries the company is looking to are: Trinidad & Tobago, Bermuda, Navassa Island, Serranilla Banks, Costa Rica, Mexico, Angola and Bajo Nueva. Each area has its own rich wrecks and in most cases, permission must be obtained from those governments in order to begin work.
This photo shows what a baggage ferry boat would have looked like in the days of King Charles I. They had a wide beam and used 'leeboards' to keep it steady. It would have been approximately 85 feet long.
